2008 Fall Meeting
The 2008 Fall Meeting will October 2-3 at the Loews Hotel in Annapolis, MD. We can also confirm at this time that Peter Hart, one of the leading analysts of public opinion in the United States will be our featured guest political speaker at the meeting, just one month before Americans go to the polls to elect our next President. Since 1971, he has been Chairman of Peter D. Hart Research Associates. As an established leader in survey research, Mr. Hart, along with the late Robert Teeter, and currently with Bill McInturff of Public Opinion Strategies,have been the pollsters for NBC News and The Wall Street Journal since 1989.
Hotel Accomodations
The Loews Annapolis is now accepting reservations for this meeting. ABMA has contracted a group rate of $199 per night. To make reservations, contact the hotel directly at 800-526-2593 and ask for the ABMA Fall Meeting. Hotel accommodations must be made by September 8th to ensure availability and the ABMA group rate.
Board and Committee Meetings will take place on October 2nd followed that evening by an industry dinner at one of Annapolis’ finest waterfront restaurants. On Friday the 3rd we will have our general session. As per usual, we will finish up on Friday no later than 1pm. Baltimore/Washington International Airport is a short 20 minute drive from downtown Annapolis.
