Under the auspices of the Human Resources Committee, the ABMA conducts periodic surveys on employee benefits, hourly wages, and sales compensation and manages a union contract exchange. The Human Resources Committee holds regular educational meetings on subjects selected by senior Human Resources executives in the bearing industry.
The HR Committee conducts four surveys to get a better understanding of the industry:
- Field Sales Representative Compensation Survey
- Engineering Survey
- Wage and Hour Survey
- Employee Benefits for Hourly Paid Factory Workers
These surveys are compiled by a team of experts in our Statistics office in Chicago and are distributed to the participants in a timely manner.

The HR committee has four meetings throughout the year. The goal of the meeting is to discuss current issues our member companies are facing as well as get some insight on legislative issues and current HR trends.
