The American Bearing Manufacturers Association is offering this two-part online course on rolling element bearings for those involved in industrial equipment design, reliability, and maintenance. It will include a basic overview of rolling bearings, their selection, precision and mounting considerations, service life estimation, and lubrication-related influences.

The first section will cover bearing standards, types and characteristics. 

The second section will cover best practices for care and installation/removal techniques. We will also be covering bearing damage modes and common characteristics of bearing damage modes. If time permits, we will cover root cause analysis of bearing damage samples.

This course will be hosted on Webex and space is limited to 20 participants per course.
