The Reliability and Maintainability Center (RMC) has recently focused some of research on counterfeiting and ABMA was asked to present due to our vast experience in this area and impact the industry is having as a whole to address this critical issue.  ABMA President Scott Lynch along with Antun Peakovic from the Schaeffler Group and Tim Gifford from SKF USA Inc. presented numerous end users for bearing products from Boeing and Honda to Cummins and GE.  These bearing supply chain partners were educated on the impact of counterfeits entering the legitimate chain and costs associated with these inferior products.
